An Early C20th Mahogany Fluted Torchère or Candle Stand Cabriole Supports
An early C20th mahogany torchere or candle stand, with central fluted column and raised on four cabriole pad feet. The stand is made from mahogany, which has a great rich colour and grain patination. The stand is formed with it having the small circular top with plinth with stepped rim. The top is supported on the main fluted column. The column is slightly shaped. Below the column there is baluster turning coming down to where the legs are attached. The stand is raised on four squat cabriole pad feet. The stand has a great look to it and is of a tall size. The stand dates to around 1940.

The condition of the stand is excellent, there is four small filled holes on the top, light scuffs and marks overall a great stand ready to be used.
