A Victorian Carved Mahogany Single Drawer Canterbury Magazine Rack Raised on Turned Supports

A Victorian carved mahogany single drawer Canterbury, with three interior sections and raised on slender turned legs and brass caster feet. The Canterbury is made from mahogany, which has a good colour and grain patination. The Canterbury is formed with it being set with four mahogany cross stretcher sections with turned columns. To the front and back there is a carved pediment, this is carved with swirls, leaves and roundels. At either corner there is a turned finial. To the front there is a single storage drawer with turned handles. The Canterbury is raised on small turned legs and with brass cup casters on the bottom. The Canterbury dates to around 1860-1870.

Condition
The condition of the Canterbury is excellent, with it having light scuffs and marks. It has been repolished at some point but is now ready to be placed and used.
