A Pair of Impressive C20th Ruby Flashed Glass Lustre’s with Glass Droplets

A large pair of impressive C20th ruby flashed glass lustre’s with cut glass droplets. The pair of lustre’s are formed with them having a large bowl to the top which has a shaped rim. The Bowl goes down to a shaped central stem and then down to a shaped stepped and domed base. The lustre’s are then decorated with with flashing, where the ruby glass is cut away leaving the design in the clear glass. The bowls on the lustre’s are decorated with swirl designs at the top. There is then panels of a church ruin, a leaping stag, and flying birds, these are all separated with a swirl and line design. On the shaped stem there is a dot cut design and then a large slice pattern around the stem. The base has a circular design and a swirl pattern on the base. Around each of the lustre’s there are cut glass droplets. The lustre’s date to the C20th and are impressive looking and quite a large size.
