A Row of Three Vintage Retro C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats Chairs with Aisle End Panels

A row of three vintage or retro circa 1930s cinema or theatre seats or chairs, set with decorative aisle end panels and upholstered in a patterned velvet. The seats are formed with the backs being curved and set with a polished mahogany top rail. The backs are then deeply padded and upholstered in a patterned velvet material. The material is patterned with cubes of pink, blue and green diamonds with a dark blue line design between them all. Around the top of the seat separating the material from the wood is polished metal studs. The backs of the seats are polished wood and have a book rack, which can be easily removed. The seat bases fold down and again are deeply padded and upholstered in the same velvet material. To the bottoms of the seats they are covered in a polished wooden base. The seats are supported on cast iron arms which are real decorative.  The centre two arms have flower heads below the arm rest. The aisle end panels are cast with berries and vines pattern. To the tops of the arms they have a polished wooden arm rest. The chairs freestands but can be mounted to the floor or to runners. The chairs date to around 1930, and were removed from a church but originally fitted in a cinema near Bristol. The chairs would be ideal in a café, barbers or hairdressers, as waiting room seating, café, home cinema or even just at home as a comfy feature.

Condition
The condition of the seats are excellent, with light scuffs and marks to the wooden areas, and light ware to the seat nothing major, overall ready to be used for years to come.
