A Quality Victorian Carved Mahogany Display Cabinet Raised on Cabriole Supports
A quality Victorian carved mahogany display cabinet, raised on cabriole supports. The cabinet is of real good quality and is made from mahogany which has a good dark colour. The cabinet is formed with it being carved throughout. There is a carved back support with pierced edges. Around the top of the cabinet there is some blind fret carving. Around the door it is carved with swirls and stylised designs. There is a large single door to the front. Once opened it reviles three fixed shelves each having a shaped front and lined in paper. The cabinet is raised on carved cabriole supports to the front and shaped back legs. The cabinet has its original retailers label on the back for T B & W Cockayne Ltd of Sheffield. The cabinet is of real quality and dates to around 1880.

Condition
The condition of the cabinet is very good, with light scuff and marks. The lining paper on the shelves can be removed to show original worn green silk lining. There is no key. Overall a great display cabinet ready to be used.
