A Large Victorian Bow Fronted Mahogany Two over Four Graduated Chest of Drawers

A large Victorian mahogany bow fronted chest of two over four graduated drawers, raised on turned bulbous supports. The chest is made from mahogany, which has a great colour and grain patination. The chest is formed with it being bow fronted. The edge of the top is stepped and rounded. The chest is then set with two short top drawers, raised above four full length drawers. All the drawers are graduated down in size and each are set with turned handles. The chest is raised on turned bulbous supports. The chest dates to around 1870, and is a splitting chest so can be split into a top and bottom for ease of moving.

Condition
The condition of the chest is excellent, it has recently been repolished. The chest splits into two section. There is a couple of age related marks on the wood. We don’t have a key but every drawer has a lock fitted. Overall a great sized chest of drawers ready to be placed and used.
