A 1940s Carved Oak Two Door Bookcase with Cupboard Base

A great looking Circa 1940s carved oak two door glazed bookcase raised over two door cupboard base. The bookcase has an Art Deco feel to it and is made from Oak, which has a great colour and grain patination to it. The bookcase is formed with it having angled sides which are carved with reeded designs down them and swirls at the top. The top is set with two doors which are astrical glazed. They have a carved sections to the tops of the doors. Opening the doors it has a stained interior giving a contrast to the outside. It is fitted with two shelves which are adjustable to various positions. The base is a two door cupboard again with single interior shelf. The whole bookcase is raised on carved inset feet. The bookcase dates to around 1940.
