A C19th Gilt Framed Coloured Engraving Courting Couple Lovers

A good quality C19th gilt framed hand coloured engraving, depicting a courting couple or pair of lovers. The picture is formed with the couple in the centre of the picture both wearing eighteenth century attire. She has a flowing pink and yellow dress with frilly trim. He has high socks, baggy brown trousers and a purple and orange top. They are in a country scape with cottages at one side, church in the rear and lots of grassy path around them, she is carrying a basket of flowers. The frame is an ornate gilt frame. The picture dates to around 1830.
