A Late C19th French Brass Cased Carriage Clock with Enamel Dial

A late C19th French brass cased carriage clock, set with a white enamel dial. The clock is formed with it being set in a lacquered brass case. It has a shaped twisted handle fixed to the top. The case has four glass sides, each with bevelled edges. To the top it has an oval window showing the balance wheel. The dial on the clock is a white enamel dial. It has black Roman numerals, and black handles. Opening the back door it shows the winding areas for the clock and hands. Through either side of the clock you can see the movement. The clock doesn’t come with a key but these are easily enough to get. The clock dates to around 1900, I would say.

Condition
The condition of the clock is very good. The clocks balance spins for a short while, but the clock hasn’t been tested as no key. One of the side panels has a very small chip in the top corner.
