A C20th Brass Cased Mappin & Webb Carriage Clock with Enamel Dial

A C20th brass cased carriage clock, with white enamel dial made by Mappin and Webb Ltd. The carriage clock is formed with the case being made from lacquered brass. The case of the clock has reeded side supports. Each side has a bevelled glass panel fitted into it. To the top there is a shaped brass handle. The face on the clock is white enamel and then it has black Roman numerals. The clocks dial is marked to the bottom for Mappin & Webb Ltd. Opening the clocks back door it is set withe the movement and the original key. The clock dates to the C20th.

Condition
The condition of the clock is excellent, with light ware to the case mainly on the top edges. The clock seems to be running fine. There is a small chip on the edge of the front glass panels edge.
