A Single Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema or Theatre Chair Seat with Aisle End Panels

A single vintage, retro Art Deco circa 1930s cinema or theatre chair, upholstered in red leatherette and set with aisle end panels. The chair is formed with the back being curved and with a polished wooden top rail. It is then padded and upholstered in the red leatherette. The back of the seat is also covered in board, which has been painted black. The seat base folds down and again is deeply padded and upholstered in the same red leatherette. The bottom of the seat is covered in a wooden hard board coloured dark brown. The arms on the chair are made from cast iron, which has been painted gold. The aisle end panel, is plain and set with a polished wooden panel making a great looking single chair. To the tops there is a shaped and polished wooden arm rest. The chair freestands fine and was removed from a theatre near London. The chairs are ideal for a café, home cinema, hairdressers or barbers shop, hallway seating or as a talking point. The chair dates to around 1930.

Condition
The condition of the chair is excellent, the wooden areas has light scuffs and marks. The leather seems very good. Overall ready to be used for years to come.
