A Victorian Art Nouveau Mahogany Two Tier Occasional Table

A great looking Victorian Art Nouveau inspired mahogany two tier Occasional table, raised on slender supports. The table is made from mahogany which has a great colour and patination to it. The table is formed with top having wave shaped edges giving the table a bit extra character. The gallery under the top is carved and shaped adding to the Art Nouveau look of the table. Towards the base there is a second tier. The legs on the table are very slender and slightly bend out and come down to pad feet. The table dates to around 1870-1890. The table is of a great size and has good proportions.

The condition of the table is excellent, it has an old professional repair to one leg, but this is solid and hardly noticeable.
