A great looking quality C20th ash and elm Windsor arm chair, set with crinoline stretcher and turned supports. The chair is made from ash and elm, which has a good rich colour and good grain patination. The chair is formed with the back having the shaped back rest with central carved and pierced back splat. To the lower section of the back it has the shaped arm supports and again a carved and pierced back splat. The seat on the chair is carved and shaped for extra comfort. The chair is raised on turned, tapering and angled supports, with a Bentwood crinoline stretcher. The chair is done in the Georgian style with age related marks added to make this chair look older. The chair dates to around 1960s we would guess but made to look like a chair from the Georgian period.
