A single vintage or retro Art Deco circa 1930s cinema or theatre seat or chair, which has been freshly reupholstered in a striped hyena faux fur and with a studded edge and is set with a pair of decorative aisle end panels. The seat back is curved and has a studded edge and top rim. The seat back then has been padded and reupholstered in a faux striped hyena fur with a swirl effect running through it, the sides and top rim of the seat has had a studded edge finish. The back of the seat is covered in a stained and polished wooden panel. The seat base folds down and is deeply padded and upholstered in the same faux fur material. The bottom of the seat is covered in a polished wooden panel. The arm sections on the chair are made from cast iron, these are a gold colour. Either side is a real decorative aisle end panel, these have Art Deco stylised designs all over them. To the tops of the arms there are shaped and polished wooden arm rests. The seat was originally fitted in a cinema in Yorkshire but has been freshly reupholstered. The chair dates to the 1930s. The chair will freestand but can be better mounted down to add extra support. The chair would be ideal for use in a home cinema, waiting area, hairdressers, hallway or as a feature.
