An Ornate C20th Gilt & Upholstered Arm Chair Raised on Twisted Supports

A very ornate C20th Gilt wood and upholstered arm chair or thrown, raised on twisted supports. The chair is formed with chair back being carved  with flower heads, acorns, swirls and columns. To the centre it has a deeply padded and upholstered section. The upholstered sections are upholstered in gold three tone material with a stylised pattern. The arms on the chair are angled down and again heavily moulded with leaves and scrolls. To the front of the arm it has a leaf moulded front. At the elbow areas on the chair there is an upholstered section. The seat base is shaped and again deeply padded and upholstered. The chair is raised on twisted tapering supports. The chair dates to around late C20th and has a very impressive look to it.

Condition
The condition of the chair is excellent with lights scuffs and marks but it’s that ornate there are hard to tell, overall ready to be used.
