An Art Nouveau Copper & Brass Twin Handled Tray Makers S&SB

A quality Art Nouveau copper and brass twin handled serving tray, with the makers S&SB. The tray is formed with it mainly being made from copper. The main section has a slightly raised rim which is fluted. The base has Art Nouveau influenced designs of swirls, and other stylized motifs. To either side of the tray it has a brass carry handle. The tray is raised on brass bun feet. It is stamped on the base with the makers marks for S&SB. The tray dates to around 1890.

The condition of the tray is excellent, a few small marks on the front and it is missing one bun foot on the base.
