A Vintage Retro Authentic Weathered Pine Lobster Buoy Float Original Paint Doorstop Feature

A vintage or retro Authentic weathered pine lobster or crabbing buoy or float, with metal rod and rope braid, with original paint and waxed finish, ideal as a doorstop or feature. The large circular buoy is made from pine so has a light colour. The buoy is cylinder in shape and has various red, silver splashes of paint on it. The wood is also pretty weather and has various knocks from years of use. The wood has has a couple of coats of clear wax added to protect and add a shine to the wood. Across the top of the buoy there is various impressed numbers and the words Head. Through the centre of the buoy there is a metal rod with a circular loop at the top. Fitted onto the loop there is a length of old rope. The buoy would now be ideal as a feature in a shop or perfect as a doorstop with a bit of character about it.

The condition of the buoy is excellent, with various scuffs and marks to the wood commensurate with years of use overall a great item ready to be placed and used.
