A Vintage Oak 6 Drawer Architects Plan Chest or Artists Chest

A large vintage circa 1950s oak six drawer architects plan chest or artists set or drawers, with original brass handles and name plates. The plan chest is made from oak, which has a great colour and grain patination. The chest is made in two sections. The plan chest is formed with the top being rectangular with chamfered edge. The sides of the chest are panelled. The plans Chest is set with six large deep and wide drawers, each drawer front has rounded edges. Each drawer is set with lacquered brass cup handles and then lacquered brass name plates to the centre of each drawer. The plan chest dates to around 1950, and splits into two sections for ease of moving.

Condition
The condition of the plan chest is excellent, it has light scuffs and marks mostly to the top commensurate to age. Overall ready to be placed and used.
