A Vintage C1930s Industrial Art Deco Hawkins of Drury Lane Desk Lamp

A vintage or retro circa 1920-30s industrial Art Deco Hawkins of Drury Lane London adjustable desk lamp. The lamp is formed with the base being made out of enamelled cast iron. The base is shaped in a stylised horse shoe shape, with a raised centre. From this centre section it has an adjustable chrome bar. To the top of this there is the brass lamp holder section, with a Bakelite on off switch. There is a circular domed enamelled lamp shade. The lamp shade and the base are both enamelled in a deep gold to brown colour. The interior of the shade is a white colour. The lamp is marked to the underside of the base with the metal plate for Hawkins of Drury Lane. The lamp dates to around 1920-30s. We have had the lamp retired with braided brown wire, so it’s ready to be used.

Condition
The condition of the lamp is very good, all rewired and ready to be used. There is light ware to the base and shade and a little staining to the inside of the shade.
