A Victorian Painted & Waxed Two over Three Chest of Drawers

A Victorian painted and waxed two over three graduated chest of drawers, raised on turned feet. The chest of drawers is solid and probably made from a mahogany veneered pine carcus. The chest has then been painted and waxed with a cream to brown colour. The painted finish has a textured feel to it. The chest is formed with it having stepped and rounded top edge. The chest is then set with two short top drawers, raised above three full length drawers. All the drawers are graduated in size. Each drawer is set with its original turned wooden handle. The whole chest is raised on turned feet. The painted finish isn’t original but is very effective and has a modern look to it. The chest dates to around 1890-1900.

The condition of the chest seems to be excellent, the painted and waxed finish is excellent, overall a great chest ready to be placed and used.
