A Victorian Ebonised Corner Chair Upholstered in Monkey Print Fully Restored
A Victorian ebonised or painted corner or space saving chair, recently reupholstered in a vivid monkey print and raised on turned supports. The chair is formed with it being in original paint, which is done in black or ebonised. The chair back has a shaped top rest and flowing shaped arms with scrolling ends. The back is supported on turned supports and bentwood stretchers. The chair has recently been reupholstered in original horse hair padding and has been deeply padded. The upholstery is a Victorian type print and has a monkey in foliage all done in tones of blues, greens, whites and black lines. The chair has a studded edge. The whole chair is raised on turned supports. The chair dates to around 1880.

Condition
The condition of the chair is excellent, with it having lights scuffs and marks on the painted wood showing the wood underneath. Overall a great chair ready to be used.
