A Small Georgian Mahogany Dropleaf Pembroke Dining or Side Table, Raised on Tapering Supports

A Small Georgian mahogany drop leaf Pembroke dining or side table, raised on tapering supports. The table is made from mahogany, which has a good rich colour and grain patination. The table is formed with it having a small drop leaf to either side each with rounded edges. Each leaf is supported on wooden twist out supports making the table slightly bigger if needed. The table is raised on slender tapering rectangular to round legs. The table dates to around 1790, and is of a good small size ideal for a hallway or use as a side table.

Height 28.25”
Width 27.5”

Condition
The condition of the table is excellent, with it having light scuffs and marks to the wood. It has had a couple of old repairs to the wood near the hinges but these are well done and don’t alter the use of the table. Overall a good period table of great small size.
