A Small Carved Oak Single Door Bedside Cabinet Raised on Turned Supports

A small carved oak single door bedside cabinet or pot cupboard, raised on slender turned supports. The cabinet is made from oak which has a good colour and grain patination. The cabinet is formed with it having a rectangular top with a stepped and rounded edge. The cabinet is then set with a single door, which is panelled. The door it set with its original tear drop handle. Opening the cupboard it is set with a single shelf adding extra storage space. The cabinet has a pierced back, letting items inside breath. The cabinet is raised on slender turned supports, with a H shaped strengthening supports between the legs. The cabinet dates to around 1940.
