A Single Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seat Reupholstered in Yellow Wool REF8
A single vintage or retro Art Deco circa 1930s cinema or theatre seat or chair, which has been reupholstered in a yellow wool with stitched design to it. The seat is formed with the back being curved. The back is then deeply padded and upholstered in the yellow stitched wool material. The back of the seat is covered in a stained and polished wooden panel. The seat base folds down and is again deeply padded and upholstered in the same material. The bottom of the seat is also covered in a stained and polished wooden panel. The arm sections on the seat are made from cast iron which have been sprayed gold. To the tops of the arms they are set with shaped and polished wooden arm rests. The chair dates to around 1930 and was removed from a cinema in Scarborough but has been reupholstered. The chair would freestand but can also be mounted to a base or plinth to add extra support. The chair would be ideal in a home cinema, entranceway, cafe, hotel, interior design or display setting.

Condition
The condition of the seat is excellent, with light scuffs and marks to the wooden areas. The material is very good as recently redone. Overall a great seat ready to be placed and used.
