A Quality Large 12 Drawer Architects Plan Artists Chest of Drawers Ebonised & Walnut

A quality circa 1940s large 12 drawer architects plan or artists chest of drawers with ebonised drawers and walnut frame. The plan chest is made from walnut which has a great rich aged colour and patina. The drawer fronts are ebonised and have all the wear for years of use. The plan chest is formed with the sides being panelled. The top has a shaped edge and great colour to it. The plan chest is set with 12 drawers, each very deep. Each drawer front has been ebonised and is set with a pair of brass cup handles. The whole plan chest is a one piece item, and is one of the largest we’ve seen. An outstanding item, with lots of uses, we thing ideal as a chest of drawers for clothes as you could have all laid out and wouldn’t have to go searching though. The plan chest dates to around 1940.

Condition
The condition of the plan chest is excellent, we have had it lightly cleaned, but have left certain wear, marks and pin holes from the years of use its had. It all functions fine and is ready to be used.
