A Quality C19th French Mahogany Fold Over Tea Table, Quarterly Veneered Great Colour

A very good quality C19th French mahogany fold over card table, with quarterly veneered top and inside along with amazing carved base. The table is formed with it being made from mahogany, which has an amazing colour and grain patination. The table is formed with top having rounded edges. The top has a book matched quarterly veneered Flame mahogany top with crossbanded edge. The table top opens up and swivels round to make a larger tea, centre or side table. The top of the table when open is amazing with both pieces being quarterly veneered book matched flame mahogany, which have a great colour. The base of the table is as good as the top with a real ornately carved base with central shaped and carved swirl and fluer de lye carvings. The legs on the table are turned, fluted and tapering down to a small point. The table dates to around 1860-70.

Condition
The condition of the table is excellent, with light scuffs and marks. There may be an old patch repair on the top, but this is very well done. Overall a great table ready to be placed and used.
