A Pair of Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats or Chairs Red Velvet Upholstery

A pair of vintage or retro circa 1930s cinema or theatre seats or chairs, which are upholstered in a red velvet. The backs are formed with them being curved and with a polished wooden top rail and then deeply padded and upholstered in a deep red velvet material. The backs of the seats are covered in a stained and polished wooden panel. The seat bases fold down and again are deeply padded and upholstered in the same red velvet material. To the top edge of the seats there is a fitted seat number these are 8 & 9. To the bottoms of the seats there is a black coloured board. The arm section of the chairs are made from cast iron, which is very decorative with it being cast with flower heads. These have been resprayed in gold. To the tops of the arms there is a polished wooden arm rest. These seats were originally fitted in a cinema in Oxfordshire. The chairs will freestand fine but can also be fitted down if needed. The chairs would be ideal in a home cinema, hotel waiting area, hairdressers, barbers shop, hallway or as a feature.

Condition
The condition of the seats are excellent, there is light ware patches and marks in places. The wooden areas have light scratches and marks from years of use. Overall ready to be placed and used.
