A Large Vintage Early C20th Ebonised 6 Drawer Architects Plan Chest

A Large Vintage Early C20th ebonised pine 6 drawer architects plan chest, with polished oak panelled top. The plan chest is formed with it being made from pine, which has been ebonised, to give it that rich black colour. The plans chest is set with six full width large drawers, each set with there original patented brass loop pull handles and a central name plate. To the top of the chest it is inset with a panel of wood, which has been stained and polished and has got a golden oak look to it. The whole chest splits into two pieces for ease of moving. The chest probably dates to around 1930-40.

Condition
The condition of the chest is excellent with light scuff and marks overall commensurate to age and use. The chest has been re ebonised, but was originally ebonised.
