A Large Victorian Copper Cauldron Cooking Pot with Cast Iron Swing Handle

A large Victorian copper Cauldron or cooking pot, with shaped cast iron swing handle, ideal for use as a log, coal bucket or planter. The cooking pot is made out of copper, which hasn’t been polished for years giving it a great patina. The cooking pots body has a castellated seem around the base and down one side showing how it was made. On either side there is a brass handle mount, which is riveted on. The handle on the Cauldron is made from iron which is bent and rounded at the edges. The cauldron is marked to either handle mount with ?W. The Cauldron dates to around 1870-80.

Condition
The condition of the cooking pot or Cauldron is excellent, it hasn’t been cleaned for years but I prefer the patina. There is various dings and marks to the body but nothing major all add character.
