Description
A Large Rustic Vintage Pine Folding Trestle Table, Excellent Patina Dining Table
A large sized rustic vintage waxed pine folding trestle dining table, with excellent patina. The table is made from pine which has a great aged colour and grain patination to it. The table has been finished with a couple of coats of clear wax and buffed which has added a shine but let the years of character also stay there. The table is of large size so would easily sit 6-8 people. The top of the table is made from 8 pine planks, which have various age related marks on them. The outer two planks have rounded edges from years of use. The legs of the table fold down and are supported with cross stretchers and the legs are locked in place with metal folding bars, which clip up in place. All the wooden base and metal sections have also been waxed. The legs of the tables fold flat and can be clipped in place so the table can easily be stored away. The table dates to around 1930s, and would be ideal as a dining table or prep table. These have recently been used in a church. We have recently relaxed them to add a shine and show the character of the tables off.

Condition
The condition of the table is excellent, with a newly added wax finish, it has various light scuffs and marks on the top from years of use. There is four small holes on either side of the top nothing. Each support bar on the legs is a replacement but they’ve both been done so doesn’t look out of place. There is only one metal locks to lock the legs in place when folded away instead of 2 but this still holds it fine. Overall a very good rustic trestle dining table.
