A Large Georgian Mahogany Dropleaf Dining Table Raised on Square Supports

A large Georgian mahogany dropleaf dining or kitchen table, raised on square supports. The table is made from mahogany, which has a great rich colour and grain patination. The table is formed with it having the thin rectangular top and the larger hanging leaves. The edge of the table is just plain squared edges. Once the tables leaves are opened up and supported from a leg which opens out to support the top. Once opened the table will seat 4-6 people easily. The table is raised on four square legs, which have chamfered sides. Overall a very charming Georgian dining table, dating to around 1780-1800.
