A Large Antique Georgian Stumpwork Picture Landscape with Figures & Cannon

A large antique Georgian gilt framed stumpwork picture depicting landscape with buildings and figures and a cannon. The stumpwork picture has very vivid colours when in the right light. The stumpwork picture comes in an ornate gilt and painted frame. The picture looks to be done in various wools, thinner cottons and twisted loop sections. It has been done with various textile styles. The images depicts, a landscape scene with buildings, figures and what looks to be a cannon in the centre. The stumpwork picture we think dates to the Georgian period maybe around 1770-1790 or could be earlier or later hard to say.

Condition
