A 1930s Carved & Panelled Oak Gentleman’s Fitted Wardrobe
A good quality solid oak circa 1930s carved and panelled oak gentleman’s fitted wardrobe. The wardrobe is made from oak, which has a good rich colour and grain patination. The wardrobe is formed with it having two doors, each panelled with a blind fret carved freeze across the middle. The carving is of stylised love hearts. Opening the wardrobes the interior is a lighter oak. The left hand side of the wardrobe is fitted with a clothes rail and then a shoe tail to the bottom and a tie rail to the inside of the door. The right hand side is fitted with three open shelves and then three drawers and an open shelf at the base. The whole wardrobe is fitted in a shaped caddy plinth. The wardrobe is of a great size and probably dates to around 1930.

Condition
The condition of the wardrobe is excellent, with light scuffs and marks. Comes with its key to lock the doors. Overall a great wardrobe or hall robe ready to be placed and used.
