An Antique Ebonised 28 Drawer Haberdashery Industrial Bank of Drawers

A large antique Haberdashery or industrial bank of 28 ebonised drawers, each with brass pull name plate handles. The bank of drawers is made from pine, which has been ebonised and waxed and now has the black shiny colour to it. The chest is formed with it being set with the 28 drawers in four rows of seven. Each drawer has a brass pull handle with name plate area on it. The top 8 drawer pulls are slightly smaller but this is hardly noticeable. The top of the chest is rectangular and done with two planks. The chest has a great cool look to it and would be great in any modern setting. The chest probably dates to around 1940.

Condition
The condition of the chest is excellent, there is various small old scuffs and knocks. The chest has been re-ebonised at some point and we have added a clear waxed finish to give a little bit of a shine to it. The top planks are replacements but seem very well matched.
