A Victorian Mahogany Two over Two Chest of Drawers Raised on Turned Supports

A Victorian mahogany two over two chest of drawers, raised on turned supports and with glass handles. The chest is made from mahogany, which has a great colour and grain patination. The chest is formed with the top having rounded and stepped edges. The edges of the chest are also rounded. To the back it has a small shaped back pediment. To the front of the chest it is set with two short top drawers raised above two full length drawers. The drawers are graduated getting larger to the bottom. This gives excellent storage. Each drawer is fitted with clear glass handles. The whole chest is raised on turned supports. The chest is of great proportions, and dates to around 1850.

Condition
The condition of the chest of drawers is excellent. There is an odd nick to the odd glass handle. We have had the chest repolished so it is in great condition ready to be used.
