A Pair of Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats or Chairs with Aisle End Panels & Freshly Reupholstered REF15
A pair of vintage or retro Art Deco circa 1930 cinema or theatre seats or chairs, which have been freshly reupholstered and are set with a pair of decorative aisle end panels. The seats are formed with the backs being curved. The seat backs have been freshly padded and reupholstered in a pale pink herring bone patterned wool material. The backs of the seats are covered in a stained and polished wooden panel. The seat bases fold down and have been reupholstered and padded in a purple patterned material with white flecks and has a textured feel. The bottoms of the seats have also got stained and polished wooden panels. The arms on the seats are made from cast iron, these have been sprayed gold. To either side there is a decorative aisle end panel, this is decorated with reeded line designs. To the top of each arm, it has a shaped and polished wooden arm rest. The chairs date to around 1930, and were originally fitted in a cinema in Barnsley but have recently been reupholstered. The chairs will freestand fine, but can easily be mounted down to the floor or plinth. The chairs would be ideal for a home cinema, hallway, café seating, hair dressers, interior design feature or just as a talking point.

Condition
The condition of the seats are excellent, with light scuffs to the wooden areas. The upholstery is freshly done so is excellent. They are still very comfy and ready to be placed and used.
