An Edwardian Oak Two Door Shop Display Cabinet on later Oak Plinth
An Edwardian light oak two door shop display cabinet or china cabinet, mounted on a similar but later oak plinth. The cabinet is made from light oak, which has a great colour. The cabinet is formed with the top section having two doors each with a arch topped glazed panel set into them. The sides of the cabinet are also set with the same arch topped glass. Opening the cabinet it is set with two fixed shelves giving great storage or display areas. The cabinet is raised on an oak base which is later but looks fine. The base has rectangular legs and a single shelf on the base. The cabinet splits into two sections for ease of moving. The top section dates to around 1910-20, but the base section is later.
