An Antique Carved Oak Cased Mantle Clock Chiming on a Gong Ansonia

An antique carved oak cased 8 day mantle clock, chiming half hourly on a coiled gong and being set with an American Ansonia company. The clock is formed with the case made from oak, and having carved sections around the front. The clock is then raised on stepped base. The dial on the clock is a gilt coloured metal and has black numerals. Opening the back door it reviles the movement and the coiled gong. The movement is marked for Ansonia Clock company New York Patent June 18 1882.

Condition
The condition of the clock is very good, it is missing a final on the top so theirs two small holes. There is no pendulum and key. The clocks movement may need some attention.
