A Pair of Heavy Georgian Silver Sugar Tongues Plain Form 42 grams

A Pair of silver sugar tongues, from the Georgian Period which are quite a heavy gauge. Which i believe them to date to around 1770-1790, but theres no assay office stamp on them. They are formed with them being quite long and sturdy looking. They have the rounded grips. The arms and bowls are plain and taper inwards. They are assayed to the inside with the Georgian head stamp, lion passant, date letter S and the makers marks is rubbed.They weigh 42 grams.

The condition of the sugar tongues are excellent, the makers marks are rubbed but apart from that excellent.
