A Row of Three Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats Blue Wool Upholstery

A row of three vintage or retro Art Deco circa 1930s cinema or theatre seats or chairs, which are upholstered in a lightly patterned blue wool material. The seats are formed with the backs being curved. The backs are then padded and upholstered in the blue wool material. The material has diamond designs on it, done with a red  and two tone blue colours. The backs of the seat are covered with a dark blue painted wooden panel. The seat bases fold down and are again padded and upholstered in the same material. The bottom of the seats are also covered in a painted wooden panel. The arm sections on the seats are made from cast iron which have been sprayed gold. To the tops of the arms are set with shaped and polished wooden arm rests. The chairs date to around 1930 and was removed from a cinema in Sheffield. The chairs will freestand but can also be mounted to a base or plinth to add extra support. The chairs would be ideal in a home cinema, entranceway, cafe, hotel, interior design or display setting.

Condition
The condition of the seats are excellent, with light scuffs and marks to the wooden areas. The material is very good with an odd marks. Overall a great set of seats ready to be placed and used.
