A Carved Oak Linen Fold Bureau with Fitted Interior

A carved oak bureau, raised over three drawer base and with fitted interior. The bureau is made from oak, which has a good honey colour. The bureau is formed with it having the angled slope front, which has two panels of linen fold carving on it. Opening the front of the bureau its arm supports automatically come out to support the front. The bureau is fitted with various pigeon holes, and two small drawers to the back. To the bottom is has a red leather writing pad. To the bottom of the bureau is has the full length storage drawers each with moulded edges and turned handles. The top drawer has a central carved section. The whole bureau is raised on bracket feet. The bureau dates to around 1970s.
