A Single Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seat Chair Reupholstered in Blue Velvet

A single vintage Art Deco circa 1930s cinema, theatre seat or chair which has recently been reupholstered in a muted blue velvet material. The chair is formed with the back being curved and the having a polished wooden top rail. The chair has then been padded and upholstered in a blue velvet material. The seat back then has a studded top edge and sides. To the back of the seat it has a wooden panel. The seat base folds down and is again deeply padded and upholstered in the same velvet material. To the bottom of the seat it is again covered in a stained and polished wooden panel. The cast iron arm sections are painted in a gold colour. To the tops of the arms they are set with shaped and polished wooden arm rests. The chair will freestand fine but can be mounted down to a wooden plinth or the floor. The chair would be ideal for a waiting room, hairdressers, home cinema, shop setting, entranceway. The chair dates to around 1930, but has recently been renovated.
