An Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Open Arm Chair Raised on Tapering Supports Recently Reupholstered
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany open arm chair or side chair, raised on tapering supports, and with recently reupholstered in a yellow material. The chair is made from mahogany, which has a good colour and grain patination. The chair is formed with it having three central back slats, supported with tapering side bars and double top stretchers. Coming off the back there are curved open arm rests. The chair is inlaid with satinwood stringing down the back splats, arm rests and also down the legs. The chairs seat has been freshly reupholstered in a yellow material. The chair is raised on tapering front legs and angled back legs. Between the legs there is a H shaped strengthening support bars. The chair dates to around 1910.

Condition
The condition of the chair is excellent, with light scuffs and marks to the wood. The material is excellent freshly done. Overall a good armchair ready to be used.
