An Arts & Crafts Painted and Waxed Oak Magazine Rack or Book Rack

An Arts and Crafts waxed and painted oak two section magazine rack or book rack. The book rack is made from oak, but then has a been painted in a sage green paint and given a textured finish to the paint. It has then had a rustic wax added to age and add a worn effect to the rack. The rack is formed with the sides coming up a lot taller with a bulbous top. The centre section of the rack is domed topped with a carry handle and the sides angled and plain. The whole rack is raised on shaped small supports. The rack has an Arts and Crafts feel to it, but we think may be later in date.

Condition
The condition of the rack is excellent, the painted and waxed finish aren’t original. Overall a great magazine storage rack ready to be used.
