An Art Nouveau Carved Mahogany Desk or Side Table, Raised on Turned Supports

An Art Nouveau carved mahogany ladies desk or side table, raised on turned legs with casters. The table is made from mahogany which has a great colour and grain patination. The table is formed with it having a rectangular top, with stepped and rounded edges. The top is supported on carved corner brackets. Each carved with roundels and fan motifs. The whole table is raised on slender turned supports, with casters to the bottom. The table could be used as a desk as it’s a great height or as a side table. The table dates to around 1870-1890.
