An Antique Taxidermy Fox Paw Trophy on Oak Shield Leppington Wood 3rd Jan 1912

An antique taxidermy fox paw hunting trophy, mounted on a oak shield, with gilt write up. The taxidermy shield is formed with it being mounted on a heart shaped oak shield with chamfered sides. The shield is then mounted with the fox paw hanging down. To the bottom of the shield plate it is sign written for 3rd of January 1912, Plaster Pits Farm, Leppington Wood and the time the hunt took 1hr 25 mins.
