A Vintage Rustic Industrial Farming Cast Iron Side or Hall Table with Solid Oak Top

A vintage rustic industrial farming cast iron based side or hall table, with solid oak top. The side table is formed with the base being made from an old cast iron base of a Bamfords Root Cutter. The base is formed with it being made from cast iron, which has areas of old paint still attached. The base has then had a couple of coats of clear wax added showing it patina and character off. The legs on the base are splayed out, half way down the legs they have pull up carry handles. To the top of the side table it has had fitted a thick section of solid oak worktop. The top has been coloured to a golden oak colour and then been waxed to add a light shine. The table has a rustic farming look to it but still has the modern feel to it. The base of the table is probably from around the 1930s and the top has recently been added to make it a useable item.
