A Vintage Art Deco Circa 1930s Single Cinema Theatre Seat with Aisle End Panels REF22

A quality vintage retro, circa 1930 single cinema or theatre seat, upholstered in blue leather and set with aisle end panels. The chair is formed with the back being curved and with a polished ash top rail. The back is covered in a vivid blue leather. The backs of the seats are also polished wood. The seat bases fold down and are deeply padded and covered in the same blue leather. The bottom of the seat is covered in polished wood. The arms of the seat are made from cast iron, which are painted gold and are aisle ends set with rectangular designs. To the tops of the arms they are set with polished wooden arm rests. The chair was originally fitted into a cinema in Hull. The chair dates to around 1930. The chair freestands fine, but can be mounted to the foot or screwed to plinths. The chair is ideal for home cinema, window display, café, hairdressers, barbers shop etc.

The condition of the cinema seats are very good, there is light scratches and marks to the wooden bases and back, overall ready to be fitted and used for years to come.
