A Victorian Waxed Pine Farmhouse Dresser Raised on Turned Feet
A Victorian waxed pine farmhouse dresser or sideboard, raised on turned bulbous supports and with glass handles. The dresser is made from pine, which has got a great light colour, and then it has had a waxed finish added giving a shine. The dresser is formed with it having three thick planks on the top with rounded edges. The base is set with a bank of three drawers to either side to a central smaller drawer and a small base cupboard. The cupboard door has a shaped panel. Each drawer has an ornate glass handle. The whole dresser is raised on squat turned feet. The dresser or sideboard is of a good size and has great storage areas. The dresser dates to around 1880.

Condition
The condition of the dresser is excellent, with light scuffs, marks, a couple of small slithers of wood are missing off the base and feet, these smoothed off so don’t stand out and give it the great Farmhouse look to it. There is a small hole in the top. Overall ready to be placed and used.
