A Victorian Scumbled or Painted Pine Tripod Wine Table

An Early Victorian scumbled or painted pine tripod wine table, with turned centre pedestal. The table is made from pine, but was then originally painted with a scumbled or textured finish, with tones of red and browns to make it look like it is mahogany. The table is formed with the top being circular and having a rounded edge. The top is supported on a central column, which is turned with various shaped turnings. The whole table is supported on a tripod base with shaped legs. The table dates to around 1850-70.
